A group of Pioneer students were able to participate in a zoom meeting sponsored by AAA this week. The students participated in a discussion on safe driving and a question and answer session with a State Highway Patrolman.

Due to Richland County going to the Level 3 (RED) Risk Level, all face to face parent/teacher conferences scheduled for October 8th and October 13th will be conducted remotely from Pioneer. Parents/Guardians who already scheduled a face to face conference will be contacted by your students' lab instructor to either hold the conference or set up a time to have the conference. All Pioneer staff will be in the building on October 8th and October 13th from 4:00 to 7:30 PM to take phone conferences. A list of our staff, their phone extensions and email addresses can be found on our website. Weather related closings and delays-If your partner school is closed due to inclement weather, do not report to Pioneer. If your partner school is delayed due to inclement weather, report to Pioneer at the delayed start time. If it is a 2-hour delay you will be counted tardy after 10:10. If your partner school is closed or delayed due to reasons other than inclement weather, report to Pioneer at the usual start time.

Good Evening - After consulting with local Health Department officials, Pioneer has decided to continue on our 4-day a week schedule as we have since the beginning of the year. Families will be notified through our one-call system and on social media if there are any changes.
Congratulations to Pioneer's Health Assistant seniors for passing their STNA (State Tested Nurse Aide)! 5 students in Mrs. Crane's class passed the test! To prepare for the test the students have to learn skills, do clinicals and take a written test as well. The test is usually taken their junior year, but due to COVID-19 the students couldn't finish the requirements and take the test until recently.
